Birthday: May 24th 2007 Arrival Story: I made the mistake of looking at the cats at Petsmart that were up for adoption. Narcissa was so tiny and thin and also had mucus around her nose, Bellatrix was a bit bigger but not much better off. I made my purchases but the tiny little black kittens nagged at my thoughts. I spoke to a friend about their condition and he said they would probably be taken back out to Animal Control if they were sick, I know from a previous experience that they are not put back out for adoption if returned to that place. I went to work the next day and thought if she is still there on my way home I will adopt her. She was but I had to promise to get her on antibiotics right away, the other little girl looked pretty good and they said she should be fine so I decided to just adopt the smaller weaker kitten. That was Thursday evening, we put her on antibiotics and fed her every few hours and she just came to life. Two of my friends went to Petsmart Sunday and said that the other sister was still there and was now sick as well , I went and picked her up and got her on meds right away and they are doing fantastic. Narcissa the smaller kitten weighed 1.6lbs four days after I brought her home, I have no idea how she survived the spaying! These little girls are afraid of nothing and they are so loveable, I am just happy they did not suffer the fate of so many others.......All of the kittens that were any other color were adopted, people don't know what they are missing , black cats are so sweet!
