Arrival Story:
I found Soosh at the pound. I was looking for a petite female cat, and I ended up with the biggest, baddest, blackest monster in the joint - go figure. Soosh got his name from one of his favorite activities: crazytime. Crazytime is the 10 minutes a day set aside to race like a madman all over the house, whooshing through every room at top speed: SooOOOoosh! Soosh immediately took over my bed, and spends most of every night noodled across it, pushing all humans out of his way. Soosh originally was an indoor/outdoor cat, but started getting into expensive scrapes with the neighborhood cats, so now Soosh stays inside and keeps the vet bills down. Soosh is a one-person cat, but he seems to be mellowing with age a little. A year and a half after I brought him home, Soosh decided to try something new and he spontaneously started peeing into the toilet like a little person. Two years ago he grudgingly embraced Ely the dog into his posse, and they spend most of the day hanging out together and drinking out of Ely's water bowl. Soosh isn't really a cat, as much as a little alien in a catsuit.
