Likes:
I love to watch Evie's turtles swim--it's so relaxing. They wouldn't taste good, anyway.

Pet-Peeves:
I hate it when my claws get stuck in the screen door. Ugh. Sometimes, my humans walk around with rats on their shoulders. I'll get those vermin someday!

Favorite Toy:
Twisty ties, bits of string...anything except for the nice toys my family buys me. I like to confuse them.

Favorite Nap Spot:
The dining room table is a good one, although I also like the bathroom floor and clean laundry.

Favorite Food:
Fish treats! I don't get them often, because Evie says I'm too fat. She's so mean.

Skills:
I give high fives if there's something in it for me, and I'm great at escaping. Who wants to stay inside?

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
When I was just a teeeeny tiny kitten, a farmer found me alone under his shed. (My family isn't sure whether my mother was moving the litter and had yet to come back for me, or whether I was orphaned. I was too young to remember). He took me to my current family's veterinarian, who knew that they'd recently lost their beautiful cat, Lenny, and she asked them if they would consider adopting me. I was so little that they couldn't take me home until I was at least two months old--but I settled right in and became queen of the castle, and smacked anyone who complained on the nose.

I am VERY put out.

I've just spent the last three days shut up in the bathroom, because Mumsy has to treat the carpet for fleas. She thinks I got them from running outside all the time; I say it was the smelly old rabbit that Elise brought home. It certainly wasn't MY fault.

They're also trying to force me to use my litterbox. When Evie went off to camp, I started doing my business on the carpet in the dining room, and they always cleaned it up right away, so I figured that it was a good system. It takes them HOURS to get around to cleaning out my box; why shouldn't I go where I please? Well, I've been humoring them. I guess the box isn't so bad. Besides, there's no way I'm going on the linoleum. Gross.

They think they've outsmarted me, but I don't mind staying in there. It would be nice to stretch my legs and lay in the sunshine, but at least there are no hungry fleas hiding in the floor, so I can relax. Still, I thought I'd let them know how insulted I was by wailing for an hour or so. I hope they've learned their lesson.
