Arrival Story:
Right behind my house in Managua (Nicaragua), there was a place where people would normally throw trash and junk away. I heard a kitten's meow like 24 hours in a row and I finally decided to go and check it out. There I saw her. Some kids had built a kind of little shelter with old pieces of wood, but she was standing on top of it, on her 2 front legs, meowing and looking all over like saying "ok people, hurry up, I'm bored of being here, will anybody at last take me home?" That attitude won me over because she was not a bit scared or intimidated of being there, alone.
