indoors Arrival Story: Mikey is one of Mamma Kitty's first litters. He was a feral kitten taken in by neighbors who dumped him back outside when he came of age to want to mate. He was part of our first TNR event in March 2008 and has become a very happy cat! Bio: Mikey has become a very loving cat. He has gotten used to human contact and loves petting, playing, and talking. He comes running for attention and he knows his name! He would be a wonderful companion for anyone wanting a friend to talk to, play with, or pet. He has also become accustomed to our twins (3-years-old) and allows them to pet him and feed him. And he tolerates our mild-mannered dogs (doberman and chinese crested).
Mikey is listed as a "Special Needs" cat because he has been treated for a urinary tract infection and a bacterial infection that settled in his liver. He is on a special diet (Science Diet c/d) and is doing very well! He will need to remain on this diet, likely for the rest of his life. He's not an over-eater and has remained at a healthy weight. He loves to play and loves a nice warm lap to stretch and nap in, especially in front of the TV. He's an overgrown kitten!
