There is nothing so sweet than when I am doing my paperwork or on the computer than when Midnight will sit next to me and every now and then place his paw on mine like he is saying "I can help you."

Hello, thanks for the tag. Five things I want for CHIRSTmas.

1. As corny as this sounds==the only thing I really want is world peace and then the humans would be good to the animals.

Happy Labor Day

Hellllllo Happy Labor Day! It has been a long time since I have written in the diary. Thank God I am feeling much better. Mom took me back to the vets Saturday (she overslept and missed our appointment) but they did not make us wait very long with the mess of dogs that were there already even though we were late. She thinks I am turning off the alarm and says something about catching me doing it (notice how this word has "cat" in it). I got a clean bill of health. The doc and Mom were laughing at me because I would not come out the cage. I was feeling better and stronger. Mom had the cage upside down and I was still hanging on tight. The doc said something about cats having "glue paws." The doc sent home some more "transdermal medicine." This is a medicine that Mom puts on the less hairy part of the inside of my ear since I won't take the medicine by mouth. She has to alternate ears each day so I never know when I going to get it (and she calls me sneaky!) It's easier for both of us and Mom believes using this type of medicine is why I got better because I kept hiding my other pills instead of swallowing them. The vets said that I had allergies and upper respiratory infection. Mom is just glad that I don't sneeze and snot on her all the time now. It was a mess but I am better. Yea!

Guess what! I have other family members==Mommie Mommie, Baby Baby, Ratter and Precious. Mom has had a rough weekend with them. Friday night Mom got up to go potty and Baby Baby ran in front of her and Mom tripped; now her right hip hurts. I walked over to Baby Baby and cuffed him and told him Mom could have broken something and we wouldn't be getting the crunchy things as often as we do. "No treats for trips"! Then, as if that is not enough, Mommie Mommie was sleeping with Mom on the sofa in her lap and either Mommie Mommie had a very bad dream (giant mice chasing her) or something startled her and she ripped up Mom's chest and across her left check. Mom was lucky Mommie Mommie didn't scratch her eye out. Mom and Dad spent a long time in the bathroom patching Mom up. She doesn't need stitches and will probably have a scar but Mom said she didn't care and loved us all anyway. Dad laughed and said they were "tag teaming" her.

Well, as you can see that this entry is 5:00 AM. I woke Mom up bright and early so she can see that I am not turning off the alarm. She says that I am pulling antics like Baby Baby and Mommie Mommie. I'm just trying to clear my good name.

Sensory Overload in a Good Way

What an exciting weekend I have had! I made so many new friends at the Catster site (I need to thank Baby and Caleigh again for telling me about this world). I received many lovie gifts--it was overwhelming. I had to take a long nap. I want to thank everyone for welcoming me, their sweet words and the gifts of stars and rosettes. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. One more thing before I go back to my nappy-- it is comforting to know that there are good humans who truly appreciate and love cats.

I Tap My Paw

I have an appreciation for music. That's why Mom calls me the "Music Man." Whenever Mom sings, I get up from wherever I am to get closer to her. I love her voice. I get as close to her as I can so I can hear her and then I tap my paw to the beat. If it's a gentle song; I just wag my tail and make cuddles. Mom gives me live entertainment!

Dad's Studying to Sleep

It's Friday evening and Dad has a bag packed. Mom and he have been talking about him doing a "sleep study." I and the the other kitties never needed to study to do that! Sleeping and napping are a natural with us. We can sleep just about anywhere. One my favorite places to sleep is outside in the sun by the water garden. Dad put a hole in the kitchen wall with a flap on it so we can come and go as we please. It's nice and safe in the enclosure. I can get fresh air and sun and occasionally a butterfly or lizard will come in to visit (YUM!). Anyway, back to Dad. Something about all the noises he makes in his sleep is why he is going for this study. I hope he pays attention.

"There Ain't No Pills in Me." or "Does this come in fish- flavor"?

I don't know what is wrong with me. Lately I have been running in circles chasing my tail (I see my Mom do this sometimes--usually she's looking for her keys). Anyway, my nose is always wet and I make a sound that Mom calls a "sneeze." When I do this, Mom wipes my nose and she tells me "God bless you." I know He does; He has already--I have a great home with humans that love me. Mom took me to the vet (that was an experience!@#*) and got me some pills to make me feel better. The vet said I had allergies and that maybe I was allergic to myself. (He thought that was funny). After we got home and I settled down, Mom said it was "Pill Time." Well--I never! She held me and pried my mouth open and shoved a pill to the back of my throat. I wanted to bite her but I didn't (I love her). I started drooling, slobbering and shaking the foam everywhere. I looked like a remake of one of those scary movies. Mom wiped my mouth and petted me and told me it was for my own good. Hmp! Guess what? I fooled her. When I was foaming and shaking, I spit that darn pill out. Nasssty. The joke was on me. She found it when she got home from work and we did the whole thing over again. It wasn't so bad the second time. Mom says we have to do this twice a day for 10 days. By the time I am finished taking my pills; I should be use to it.
