indoors Arrival Story: Sammy was rescued from a tree in our front yard. He was a stray and very timid around the more dominant ferals and was often "treed". His first vet visit confirmed he was FeLV positive but healthy. When the vet suggested euthenasia due to the FeLV results, we said "NO!" and portioned off our second floor for him to live away from the FeLV negative housemates. Where he lived happily and fat for many years playing "tag" with family members. Bio: Sammy remained with us until his death on February 18, 2006 when his immune system could no longer fight off the effects of his disease.
