Arrival Story: I found Gordon hiding under my car in my apartment parking lot. He was wet and dirty and not very happy. Even though he was the size of a normal cat the vet said he was only 5 months old. He has grown into a very big boy.
Bio: Gordon is very talkative and affectionate. When I come home Gordon runs to the door and yells at me until I kneel down. Then he stands on his hind legs and puts his paws around my neck and rubs his head on my chin.
Gordon loves to play fetch. If you pick up a little mouse and make it rattle he will come running and sit in front of you, anxiously waiting. Then you throw it across the room and he will retrieve it for you. It's his favorite game, unfortunately the dogs enjoy this game also and frequently steal the mouse from him.
Gordon is very shy around strangers and hides under the bed from people he doesn't know.
He is really bad about running out the back door and he thinks it's funny to run up a tree or get on the roof of the house. He will wait for you to get the ladder out and set up and then climb down on his own. He hates the fact that Shadow now has taken up the job of herding him. When he runs out I tell Shadow "go get him" and Shadow runs out and herds Gordon back into the house.
He believes he should be the only cat and doesn't like it when Talladega or one of the foster cats invade his personal space.
