Arrival Story:
Manny, aka Devil Kitty Sr., was in desperate need of a playmate. He was driving Muddy bonkers chasing her all the time, jumping on her, and generally being a nuisance. She is much too dignified for such plebian exploits and would not hesitate to tell him, LOUDLY, that she would have none of it. My mother saw Carrot's picture in the local paper, which runs a photo each week of a cat in need of a good home, and she called me saying this cat looked just like my heart kitty, Tigger, whom I lost in 2001. It took some convincing, but my husband finally agreed to go "look" at him. So off we went to Casa de los Gatos, a local no-kill shelter, to meet him. Needless to say, the rest was history.

Bio:
Carrot is a very small guy (with a big belly), but he has a very big presence. He is a total goofball and still has very kittenish behaviors, like biting and waking us up at 3 a.m. for love, but he's so sweet and silly and affectionate it's impossible to get annoyed! He loves to be held and purrs as soon as you talk to him. He has enormous eyes I think that he is distantly related to a Lemur or some type of primate, because he looks just like one! :) He and Manny constantly chase one another and perfect their best pro-wrestling moves on each other. We wanted a playmate for Manny, and boy, did we find one!
