Arrival Story:
I was coming home from work one day and saw a line of cars on one of the dirt roads...the lady in the first car didnt wanna move because there was a little kitten in a puddle in front of her car...i walked over and picked him up - he was sooo skinny and dirty and i couldnt even see his eyes from all the dirt. As soon as i picked him up, he started to purr - i knew he was i pretty bad shape so i took him to the vet right away. When the vet saw what shape he was in - malnurished, dehydrated, sick and completely wet, she gave him about a million shots - some antibiotics and vitamins, and she said if he makes it throught the night, hes gonna be okay...Well, i took him home, put him in a little box that i surrounded with warm water bottles, and he made it through the night...
Bio:
Mai Tai is the biggest sweetheart! He was in such bad shape when i found him, he couldnt even stand - his legs kept going in a split if he tried standing up. But he has the saddest brown eyes i have ever seen in a cat, and he has a really good heart. He has never scratched or bitten me, and him and Lulu became friends in a very short period of time.
