Am I being replaced?

A strange lady came to the house yesterday. She smelled of other cats, lots of cats, I hope the humans aren't going to replace me. I'm fond of them. They said words like fostering, and soon, and kittens. And it didn't sound like they were talking about me and sis. I've been trying to ask about it, but when I do, momma human #1 just picks me up and cuddles me. This can't be good. What is a kitten to do? Mew.

New Things

There are too many new things happening. I don't adapt to change very well I don't think. We have moved far far away from where I'm used to being, and it's totally new, the last week I've spent alot of time in a small room while loud noises are happening outside the door. Today they let us out for a little while, and the rooms had all changed all over again. The boxes I liked to play with so much, were GONE! and there were no little pieces of plastic to play with or eat. There was nothing! The new floors are going to take some getting used to, I keep sliding into the wall when i run too quickly. The humans seem to enjoy it, but I don't, I've been very accustomed to being sure footed... pawed, whichever.

Today they brought new people that I had never met before over, and there were just too many new things happening. I didn't like it. I spent alot of time under the couch tonight.

Nail Day

Today was nail cutting day throughout the house and that was all well and good for the other cats, but I'm not as big a fan of the process. Luckily I sneaked away before she caught up with me again, so I have two or three nails ready and waiting as a weapon. Not that I would ever use them, I just like to have the ability to used them should the opportunity arise, is that really so wrong? Everyone knows it's my nasty little sister that causes all the trouble! I don't scratch the furniture or the plants like she does... or so they think. MOL.
