Missing Callie

Hey Callie, it's Mom, just wanted to let you know how much we miss you. Your dad and I keep forgeting you're not there and we would try to let you out in the morning or to look for you so you didn't get shut up on the bedroom closet, again. Then the Friday after Thanksgiving we were sitting in the living room and we saw and felt you. You rubbed against your dad's leg and I saw you walk across our living room floor. Were you saying goodbye to us? We loved you and miss you so much, but feel you're in heaven looking out for us.

Callie is at the bridge

Callie was lost in a freak accident Thursday evening. She tried to scoot under the garage door opener just inches before it closed and didn't make it. She was a tough old broad and we miss her very much. My heart is aching now and I can only hope she realized how much her dad and I loved her. Bye Baby!

Mom is trying to starve me~

I went in last week and had a "senior screening" done at the vet's office. First off who are they calling senior? Secondly it was an evil process with poking, prodding and blood taking, they actually stuck a thermometer up you know where, most uncivilized.

Basically I'm in great shape except for my urine PH, it's was way too high. So they put me on prescription cat food. This stuff is nasty and therefore I refuse to eat it. But mom isn't letting me slide because she says it's too important to my health. So I go as long as I can and then when I realize she's not giving in I eat it, yuck!

If you read my brother Wade's diary you'll see that she's torturing the two dogs with "healthy" food too. I heard dad say he was worried she's going to start making him eat healthy also.

Meowy Christmas!!

Christmas was great. We all got stockings filled with goodies. I got a lovely new blue collar, little balls with bells in them and a new toy with feathers hanging from a plastic stick. This is my favorite toy. Wade likes it too so my keeper has to be careful not to let him get it when she and I play. Sunday morning my boy keeper made scrambled eggs with cheese and ham. I got to finish my girl keepers eggs. Yummy!!
