Arrival Story:
He used to live outside! He must've heard from the cats in the neighborhood that our house is the place to be for cats, so he came over here and we fed him. He was too scared to come in or let us touch him. He's gotten better to where he now lives inside and comes and goes in and out of the house. He lets us pet him. Actually, he DEMANDS we pet him. He loves attention and gets very jealous if he sees us giving attention to another cat and not to him. At the same time, he remains a scaredy. He will yell for petting, but if you move your hand too fast or too scarily, he'll run away scared. He's really nice and the other cats don't mind him because he's so meek. A mean orange cat used to beat him up and take his food. Now he lives inside and that orange cat has to eat stuff outside.

Bio:
His eye got badly hurt a couple years ago. He had never been to the vet because he was too scared to even let up pick him up. His eye remained all messed up and we never could take him to get it fixed. I considered trying to put tranquilizers in his food, but we couldn't really afford to take him to the vet anyway. He did ok for a long time, but I felt bad because his eye looked weird and he couldn't close it even to sleep. Even though he lived for a long time like that, I think it may have been what led to his dying. :( He died in early Nov. 2005. He was about 7 years old, by my guess.
