Arrival Story:
Sam was found by one of my fellow co-workers at a remote archaeological site. He had packed a can of tuna in his lunch that day and Sam cam running. The next day he did the same and brought Sam home with him. Mike is a wonderful guy, he takes in strays and gets them updated with shots then finds forever homes for them. I adopted Sam in August of 2005. She is starting to learn from her younger family member Pancake how to get some attention. She is completely black with very large round green eyes.

Bio:
Sam is a very ladylike cat. She loves to preen herself in front of mirrors and is above playing in front of humans. I have noticed that she meows at passerby when she sits in front of our picture windows. She also lets me know when they need fresh water and food, right away. She is just starting to sit with us on the couch, but not right against us, and coming out to sniff strangers after they have been at the house over an hour.
