Arrival Story: A mommy cat showed up with 3 babies and is now living on our back deck. Olivia was the runt, so very small compared to the others, I instantly fell in love with her. She was also the only one that didn't run away when we'd go outside, which made me fear she wouldn't survive long if she were to be left out there. Tho Olivia is so very small, going by her other littermates, I believe she was 4-5 wks old when we discovered them.
We brought her in for a few hours, here and there. Then about 5 days ago we decided we wanted to keep her. She is now living in the bathroom until she gets a clean bill of health.
Her vet appt. was yesterday and she has ear mites, round worms and possibly a cold since she sneezes now and then. We had her tested for feline leukemia but the results won't be back for a few days. Until then she is taking medication for the other problems.
Olivia is a very smart and active kitty otherwise. She litter trained in a matter of hours and eats very well. She loves attention and has our hearts.
