Pooky was rescued along with her 4 siblings, Jelly, Salem, Boo, and Delilah from a feral colony and brought to my house where I had all 5 of them. I noticed on Thursday that her belly was slightly distended and thought FIP but then thought I was being my paranoid self. Over the weekend she was fine, played, let me pet her for the first time and I was hopeful that she was surrendering her feral ways. Yesterday morning 07/23/07 I got up to find Pooky dead in the living room, still warm, and it was the absolute worst day of my life. I will miss her peeking at me around corners, wondering if I was going to try to pet her. Yesterday, God adopted an angel to rest in the arms of my best friend Penny, who died on Dec 20, 2006. I prayed God will let Penny take care of Pooky until I get to Heaven to join her again. RIP Pooky, you don't have to be afraid anymore!
