We found 1-yr-old Samantha at a local cat clinic, up for adoption & stuck in a room full of boisterous kittens. She was less than thrilled with the kitten company, but welcomed our interest in her with purring, all the while keeping the young ones away with the occasional growl or hiss. Now that she has room to roam and only one housemate (her clueless brother Charlton), she's much happier. She's definitely the queen of the house!
