On a warm summer day in July.....we lost you from our arms, but continue to hold you in our hearts forever.

And on his passing he sent us a sign.......A Rainbow.

Dahmmy passed away in my arms on July 3rd on a humid summers afternoon. His big warm heart ceased to beat as the tears rolled down my face. One more "I love you" I wispered into his ear, cradling him in my arms, I then placed him to rest. My heart felt completely empty now as my soul searched upward for some reassuring sign of peace to let me know he was in a better place. Placing the floweres in their holder and a single solar lantern to keep him safe I said Goodbye to the most unconditionally loving companion I had the privledge to share life with. As if to second my emotions the sky clouded over right then and rain drops meshed with my tears as they rolled down my face.
Crying for the next few hours and listening to the rain I tried to search for reason as to why he left so soon with so many more years to live. No answers to be found I wandered outside to stand before his new resting spot and prayed for peace in my heart. The rains last drops were dropping from above and I raised my eyes to the sky. That's when, before me I saw the most amazing Rainbow I had ever laid my eyes on. Its arch completely in my view with it magnificence start at the north side of my home and its spledor ending on the south side of my home. In all its grandeur it had made second attempts of yet another above it. At that very moment PEACE filled my heart,........... for a sign from Dahmmy, from Rainbow Bridge, had made its way to me to let me know he had made the long journey home.
