Arrival Story:
We'd just lost our boy Fred and decided that we couldn't be without a boy in the house. I guess my husband was feeling a bit out numbered with just me and Chloe. We went to the shelter. I knew I wanted an orange boy. As we turned that last corner there was this sad little skinny thing meowing at us as he leaned against the front of the kennel. He was just lying there meowing. We got him out into one of the visitation rooms and when he curled up between the two of us on the bench we knew he was ours. His left buttock was shaved (he'd gotten into something they couldn't wash out). He was already altered so he got to go home with us at that moment!!!

Bio:
This cat likes to be vacuumed! I swear it! I have movies of it. He's nuts, but I wouldn't have him any other way! I can squish on him and do anything I want. The vets all love him because of this. He also is a drooler (hence the nickname slimon).

Boy, that Chloe sure isn't very nice to me and Josie. All we want from her is no more hissing. She's always hissing at us. All we do is walk by her (okay sometimes we try to get close enough to tackle) but she just can't stand the thought of us. I guess she's gotten a bit better with me, but ever since Josie has come into the picture Chloe is a bit more fussy again.

Oh well, girls.

i don't like to say that often, but she is this time. something is going on. i was trying to ignore it like i usually do, but there is something about this time that seems different. i think they may have gotten someone to come stay with us. i hope it is someone we know and love....please let it be one of our aunts!!!

I want more food please. Mom and Dad seem to think that almost 19 pounds is a bit much...bah! I say bring it on. They are starving me. How can a growing boy live on the amount they let me have. Pleeeeeease, talk to them for me!

Things are just plugging along for us here. I got a bit of extra lovin' this morning from Dad. I'm so glad that Josie (our dog) isn't allowed on the bed. This means I get to flaunt it in her face that I'm on it and she's not. She sometimes tries to poke me with her nose and knock me off, but she hasn't succeeded yet, nor will she. I'm a cat for goodness sake, not some balance challenged human!!
