Man time flies when you are a busy cat!

Again I see it has been a year since I made my last entry. A lot has happened this past year. In January my daddy decided to adopt another dog. Well that did not work out very well. This dog did not know how to use a litter box or go potty outside. Mommy tried everything she knew to correct this, but he would come in from outside and go potty right next to my litter box. She found him a new home where he will be an outside dog with a boy to play with. The house is much much more peaceful since he left, and much more important the house smells better. I hope daddy learned his lesson about bringing more stupid dogs into MY house! Well the sun is shining and there is a window sill with my name on it. LATERS!

WOW has it been almost a year since I last posted!

Sorry fans, but life seems to be flying by. It has been almost a year since I posted here. I find that I do not like human strangers and since Mommy is tired of Izzy's bad habit of peeing on carpet she has been having other types of flooring installed. So that means STRANGER DANGER which is the look that comes on my face before I go find a hiding place. I hide when I hear the doorbell or a strange voice. If the person is here long enough sometimes my curiosity takes over and I peek around a corner to see what they are up to and if they notice me I run away. Last month Mommy's sister came with her children and well I decided that after several hours that they were okay and came out to visit, I even let them pet me but they could not pick me up. Now today Mommy came home with a load of flooring on her truck and I am guessing that means more strangers next week and since the only place there is carpet left is in the basement I will have to hide somewhere on the main floor. Perhaps I should start looking for my hiding place....Laters.

I am worried!

Last Friday Mommy took Eve to the vet and come home crying without her. She said she had to help her to the Rainbow bridge because she was too sick and was suffering. Today Mommy took the dogs to the Vet and came home without them. Did she just leave them at the kennel or were they sick too? Oh, wait I hear the big cat food dish being filled, that means Mommy and Daddy are going away for a while and that she took the dogs to the kennel and that Aunt Mary will be coming to check on us. WHEW!! I thought she had gotten rid of my favorite toy, doggie tails! Now she is giving out furry mice, got to go get me one to play with! BYE!

Life goes on...

Sorry to all my fans out there, not much new or exciting going on here. Sunday morning the remnants of hurricane Ike blew threw here. We lost power for about 2 hours that morning and boy was the wind a blowing! Good thing Mommy had those dead trees removed from the back yard earlier this summer, otherwise they might have blew down onto my house which would not be fun. I have been chasing the dog's tails when they wag them and Mommy helps me out by sweet talking the dogs so that they wag them for me. I like curling up with my dog brother Scout, he is a big security blanket so Mommy thinks but really Scout is scared and I am just making him feel safe. The other day when Mommy was in the shower she heard a noise in the bathroom and then looked up and saw me watching her get wet. I had jumped up onto the linen closet, which is about 8 feet tall, from the vanity.

Well the dog's tail is wagging got to go catch that thing! BYE!

My first birthday

Today is my first birthday. I am having a virtual birthday party with all my friends from The Daily Kitten. The dogs do not like that they are not included. I have friends coming from as far away as California so far, but you never know with TDK they could come from England, Spain or New Zealand. Mommy baked me a cheese and catnip cake to share with my friends.

As I ponder all that I have experienced in the past year, I can not help but wonder how my Momma cat and brother and sister are doing. I imagine that they got wonderful furrever homes like I did where they are loved unconditionally, get lots of cat treats and kisses.

Well got to go back to the party now it sounds like it is getting out of control. BYE!!

My career choice.

Hi all, I have made my career choice. I am going to be a plumbers assistant. I got to try it out this week while Mommy was replacing all the toilets in the house. I have been fascinated by flushing toilets my whole life. See whenever she bent over to hook up or unhook the supply lines I would jump onto her back so that she could get down that far and so I had a better view. Then I would investigate the new toilets to make sure they were up to my standards. While Mommy was installing the last one I climbed into the bowl and looked so cute she had to take a break to pet me. When she was done hooking up the supply line I refused to get out of the bowl because I was trying the cute act again but she turned on the water supply and all of a sudden that sneaky toilet started filling and got me wet! Mommy helped me out of the bowl so I could go dry myself. Wait I think I hear a toilet being flushed I better go make sure it it working properly. BYE!

What is that white stuff?

Yesterday I was sitting on my throne watching the dogs while they were outside in the cold going potty. There was these white things floating around in the air I kept trying to grab them through the glass but just could not catch any. Well that white stuff kept piling up. Today it is starting to get warmer out and the white stuff is melting, Mommy calls it snow. She took me outside on the deck and put me on the patio table which was covered with about 3 inches of that snow. It was cold on my paws and even worse it got my paws wet. I sniffed it and even tasted it but decided that it was not for me, so I jumped down and ran to the door for Mommy to let me back in.

Hi all!

Mommy walked away and left the computer on the Catster website so I thought I would drop you all a line. Christmas was awesome! I really liked playing in those trees that Mommy and Daddy put up. I liked to swat at those things hanging from the branches. I did not manage to break any of them, though I did knock a couple of them off. I thought I heard Mommy saying the dogs were going away again next weekend. I guess that means that Mommy is leaving me again and Tigger will want to have a catnip party. She gets all wound up when that stuff is around. Uh oh I think Mommy is coming back got to scoot.

Meowy Christmas

I am so excited! This will be my first Christmas, oh how much fun I have already had with those trees that Mommy and Daddy put up in the house. Now my big brother Izzy told me all about Santa Paws that I can hardly wait! I hope he brings me lots of toys. Speaking of toys Mommy took the dogs and their tails away this morning, she said they was going to the kennel because Mommy and Daddy are going to Grandpa's house in someplace called Michigan. She said they would be home the day after Christmas and that Santa Paws will leave our presents in the garage so that we can't open them before Mommy and Daddy get home, what a BUMMER! Mommy did give me a new ball to play with this morning, I am having so much fun with it! Well got to go chase that ball some more, have a safe and Meowy Christmas!

I'm sneaky!

Today I used Momma's computer again when she was busy. I started a thread on TDK to introduce my Momma, she is to shy to do that for herself. It's Daddy's birthday so I am having fun helping pick out his presents from what Momma has bought for his birthday/Christmas. See there are all these boxes to jump into and out of, which is just so much fun especially if I can get another cat close enough for me to jump out at. Momma is also doing laundry today so that means there are dirty clothes piled on the floor for me to play hide and seek with Izzy in. So much to do and so little time. Talk more later!
