Bella was formerly the cat of an elderly lady who had to go to a nursing home. My best friend told me if the cat didn't get a home by the weekend, she was going to be taken to the pound. We couldn't let that happen, so she came home with us and is now the love of our lives.
Bio:
***On August 31st, 2007 we lost our dear sweet Bella. She died in our room with my MIL 10 minutes before I came home from work. We believe she was a bit older than what the previous owner had told us. I'm just glad we were able to give her a great home in her last days. We miss her so much. Bella, you will always be in our hearts. We love you!!!

Oh yes.... the HORROR. Someone DID say bath! Here I am with my new family, minding my own business...being beautiful... and I was wisked away to the bathroom. The door shut behind me and there was no escape. I pleaded my case, but to no avail. I was unceremoniously drenched with water and I LOUDLY let them know I wasn't happy. As the shampoo was added, I realized it kinda felt good....no great! So I have to put up with being confined and made to look like a drowned rat, all that rubbing and scratching felt wonderful. Does it make me less of a cat for LIKING a bath??? I should hope not. Maybe it makes me more of a diva. I LOVE to be pampered, and if this is part of the package, count me in! Anyway, I survived the ordeal and now my coat is even MORE luxurious than it was before. Purrrrr.... My family even made comments about how nice I smell. I don't know about that, but if it gets me more brushings, I'm all for it.
