Arrival Story:
FOSTER A HOMELESS PET..... THEY NEED OUR HELP We have been searching for our dog Cheyenne for over 3 months - which means regular trips to the shelters - and the overwhelming amount of cats, kittens, dogs & puppies in the shelters is so terribly sad I couldn't just keep going back without doing something - I sent in an email stating we could foster some kittens - made an appt to come out to the Tacoma Shelter and "talk" to her about them, well I walked out of there about 20 mintues later - Momma and babies in hand - there are 5 of them and we think they are maybe about 5 days or so old - 3 beige/white colored and 2 black & white tiger stripe. We will foster them and care for them until they are old enough to be adopted out.

Bio:
All the shelter told me is she was brought in as stray and they couldn't tell me where she was found or anything much at all - she is super calm and loving and a devoted nurturing momma, very pretty with big blue eyes. Will write more as we get to know her.

The time has come to say goodbye..... but not to all : )

Well we not only survived the last 2 months of fostering our beautiful foster family of momma and her kittens - we now have two new permanant additions to our family. Powder & Levi are staying with us : ) We have made a new catster page for the boys - please check it out.

Momma "Twiggy" and her kitten "Tiger Lily" were adopted together by a wonderful family - we were so happy to get the request from them to adopt Twiggy and Lily both! ~ they went to thier new home yesterday. We will miss them all so much, but are so glad we got to spend the time that we did with them.

Sophie and Simon - the two tabby kittens - the humane society is taking them to an adoption event this weekend - and we are praying that they will also get to stay together.

This experience of fostering this great feline family was so rewarding!
