Arrival Story:
We rescued her from the Santa Clara Humane Society. She had been there just a day when we found her on our lunch hour. It was love at first sight.

Bio:
We weren't sure just what kind of cat Bessy is since we got her from the humane society. We thought she was just a Russian Blue mix. But after leafing through an issue of Cat Fancy, we discovered the Chartreux, which looks a lot like her. So we asked her if she was a Chartreux, and she looked at us square in the eye and said "yes." And everytime since, when we say Chartreux she mews at us.
