Arrival Story:
Radar came to us to be a comfort for our 13yr old boy who was going to soon lose his girlfriend (our beautiful little girl had mammary cancer--two full chain mastectomies 4 months apart). We decided on a Sphynx because we just couldn't take the cat hair anymore and we wanted BIG personality. So home came baby Radar. Look at those ears--like satellite dishes, hence the name Radar. Well, right after the little guy came home (two weeks) our big man wasn't feeling well. We ended up in emergency (vomiting and bloody diarrhea) one night and got the horrible news--lung tumor. We let our boy Nermie go in peace. So the baby that was to be a comfort and companion to him was now quite a pest to our unwell little girl. So....we decided he needed a distraction and home came baby Cosmo (he has his own page now--check it out!). This theory worked and he was so busy with the baby that he left our little Spotly alone. Anyway, Radar is a VERY intelligent and VERY agile feline. There is NOTHING he can't get on top of--except the ceiling fans--though he's been eyeing them up pretty hard lately! :) He looks like a Bulldog when he walks, all stocky and muscular. He brings us SO MUCH joy everyday. Even when he snorts at you when he doesn't get his way. He's always careful to spread the love around and will split his time between available laps. Be careful if you come over, most of our guests don't expect a cat on their lap INSISTING you let him under your shirt to be snuggled. He'll headbutt you until you let him in! Not kidding! He is a special joy and is so unique. You meet him and you are intrigued and charmed immediately. He pretty much always gets his way--let's just put it this way--can you say SPOILED?

Bio:
They keep telling me I'm too smart for my own good! If they only knew! I am especially agile and I like to get a top of everything I'm not supposed to like the counters, the walls--you name it. I love to ride on shoulders and I might take you by suprise if you are not expecting a kitty to jump on you when you are not looking! By the way--bald is beautiful!
