Arrival Story:
A lady I work with volunteers for Rescue Pup in Millcreek, Wa. She showed me a picture of this beautiful orange tabby with big green eyes and said "The poor thing, he was hit by a car and his owners abandoned him at the vet!" I was amazed to learn that Rescue Pup saved Max from euthanasia, had his damaged leg amputated, and nursed him back to health. We filled out adoption papers the next day and he became our kitty on my birthday in 2002.

Bio:
Max is the sweetest, most laid back cat. He doesn't even seem to notice he only has three legs. He is very athletic and seemingly fearless. His best friend is our dog, Frogger. They love to groom each other and nap on the couch together.
