“Susan’s Christmas Star Jake”

A very sweet gentle soul named Jake passed away very quietly yesterday morning.
Jake was my very special friend my buddy and my pal. He loved to play and play tricks on everyone. He loved to hide and jump out to scare who ever he caught walking past his special hiding place. He loved new toys and any thing that had wheels or long string
Jake especially loved Christmas he loved the train that we set up around the base of the tree. Jake was always the first to test out the truck of the Christmas tree to make sure it was sturdy enough to hold him. I will miss his nudges and purring, the sweet touch of his paws on my face in the early morning hour Rubbing and asking are you awake?????
let’s eat come on I’ll show you where it is... rubbing my legs all the way to the Kitchen and insisting this is where the food bowls are as he placed his paws on the door of the dishwasher and this is where we kept his food as he lead me to the pantry door. Let me help you open that can of food as he jumped up on the Kitchen island- I can’t wait- I’m so hungry.

Yesterday My Sweet Boy didn’t come to wake me up!

I will always love you. Jake! I miss you so very much!

Rest in peace my sweet Kitty man

Someone dropped off a litter of kittens and a mother Cat Friday night
They did not leave any water of food and shelter for the poor kitties
the weather conditions in SC are horrible.. we have had heat advisory
Warnings and temps soring over 100 degrees..

We placed an igloo doghouse with blankets and food and water out for the kitties and are please to say the kitties moved into the Igloo.
They are eating and drinking, We found a Forever home for the Family of Kitties. Momma Kitty and her little ones are going to a family that have a Farm. They will be transported to their new home on Wednesday..

There are Angels you just have to know where to find them.
It's going to be a Good week..

I live in a nice house ..with good food and toys and lots of places to sleep ,or get away from the husstle bustle of my giant size brothers and sisters. they are great danes..Large feet ,drool alot. nasty... makes you shake your paws to get it off when you walk in it.. That kind of nasty.. I love them they protect me we are pals.. I like to drink from their big water bowl, only if i get to the bowl before they do.

last night we were watching TV with mom and dad.. the Danes were barking and running to the door back and forth from the door to Mom
Mom said they just came in so they did not need to go out again.

Mu Brother Damian insisted Mom go outside with him. They went out the front door Mom looked around but did not see anything. Damian looked and went back into the house.

This morning our Neighbor called and asked if we knew anything about the Kittens in the Grove of Trees between our Houses.
Mom said no! we didn't know about the kittens.. Mom went out and put a big bowl of water down and i let her put some of my food out for the little kittens. Poor babies! someone dropped them off last night
That's what Damian was trying to Tell Mom..

We have a Heat Advisory because -we have had no rain and the Heat Index is over 100 degrees. Mom is going to get the kittens later tonight and bring them into our house where they will be safe.
we will find them new homes.. anyone want a sweet kitten?

hope they will let mom rescue them.I will keep you posted ..
