Mom is a Marine. So is dad. In the process of moving out of miltary barracks ( no pets allowed) we decided to adopt a cat. (Mom is non-deployable, but dad is deploying in september so we wanted to get a good companion before he left) Mom is a kitty lover and has always wanted to rescue a cat from getting put down. After lots of searching we came accross a kill shelter out in the boonies. We looked at all the kittys and asked whitch one was next on the list. Thats when we meet keith.. since we wouldn't have our appartment for another week we couldn't get him right then, so we put our name on his card and left. a few days later the shelter called, telling us that he had a small upper respatory infection and if we wern't going to adopt him that day they were going to put him down. So we rushed up there and took him out of there. He got sicker over the next few days and had to get hospitalized.
Keith is doing just fine now. We have our appartment, and keith loves playing man of the house. He still has a little fuzzy patch missing on his front arm from where they had to put the IV
Keith passed on the 15th of November 2008. We are unsure why. He was traveling to our new home in North Carolina and mid trip the life slipped from his body. He was 2 years old.
seriously easy goin'
