Arrival Story: Romeo and his sister Lola were found as abandoned newborns. They were hand raised by humans who eventually could not keep them. I had been looking to adopt two cats for some time and the timing was perfect. So, when my veterinarian friend contacted me and said two kittens needed to be adopted I could not refuse. When the couple arrived at my home with Romeo and Lola I knew I could not let them leave...and they didn't!
Bio: I am an attention seeker. If I'm in the room alone I will meow until someone answers me or comes to see what I want. I also love water. I have to dip my paw in my water bowl and splash it around before I will drink out of it. This creates a nice big mess my owner gets to clean up. I will climb on humans in order to dip my paw in whatever their drinking. I also like to greet people at the front door by stretching my front paws up their legs then engaging my claws to "help" them come down to my level so I can smell their face.

I've Been On Catster Since:
Today I had a rather unpleasant visit with the vet except for finding out I now weight 14 lbs. 11 oz. It must be all the running up and down the stairs...hmmm. Although I am usually a pleasant and sweet kitty I do not like going to the vet. I do not like the ride, I do not like the smell of the place, I do not like being examined. Because of all this I put up one heck of a fight. I claw, I hiss, I growl...and I win. Yep, today the vet was unable to examine me because of my defensive attack. Muahhh, muahhhh!!!
It's been a busy winter. My sister and I moved to a bigger place with stairs so I was forced to begin a new exercise program. I had a bout of something the vet called "feline idiopathic cystitis." This condition caused me to go to not one, but two vet visits. I was not happy at all and attempted to claw, scratch and hiss at anyone who attempted to help me. After some medication and some rest I am back to my usual self and also managed to drop my weight to 15.2 pounds. I guess that exercise is paying off!
I left the house yesterday for a vet visit and found out that I now weigh 16 pounds! Some say that I am fat but I just think there is more of me to love. My human thinks she is going to put me on a diet but we will see about that. I have ways of getting what I want.
