Arrival Story:
on feb 4th 2006 My boyfriend took me to a local shelter to get a kitten as a valentines day present. after lookign around i saw this depressed looking white furball with a crooked tail in one of the back cages i picked him up and he seemed listless so I put him back down but as i reached for a different cat i heard a loud meow and there was that white furball reaching thru the bars of his cage at me and meowing,i couldnt resist I had to take him home with me. Cupid stayed with me for about a year and a half where he was VERY spoiled kitty and was very very happy.he then had to stay at my parents house for a month til I could move him into my new apartment.... three days after i got him here he collapsed unable to hold his ehad up on his own so we took him to the vets and found a grapefruit sized tumor in his abdomen.. it was too late and there was nothing we could do than to euthanize him.it was the worst feeling in the world holding his paw as they stuck the needle in his back leg and feeling the grip he had on my hand with his paw slowly fade to nothingness. he was a little over two years old when he passed and i will always miss him terribly I hope this page will serve as a lasting tribute to him.
