Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma

I was brought to the vet today to get my feet checked out. I've always had dried and cracked feet but they've been puffy and a purplish color for the last few months. The vet checked me out and diagnosed me with Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma. He said that it may be that, an auto immune disease, or a metabolic thing. We're all hoping it is Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma. If it's not, I have to get blood work and/or a paw pad biopsy. i got a shot today to treat Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma which also treats auto immune. If it doesn't work, I'll have to get work done. I sure do hope it works. I didn't like getting that shot. Of course, if it is Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma or an auto immune, I may have to get more shots throughout my life.
