Finally, they are gone!!!

HMPH!! Mom and Dad brought home these tiny creatures called Dwarf Hamsters. One of them had babies...TWICE!!! Mom has been paying way too much attention to these irritating little things. Any time she is watching them, I made a point of grumbling and walking right in front of her face! I made sure I didn't miss out on my mousey playtime either - it's very important to me!

Anyways, yesterday, all but 1 of the babies went to new homes. Mom is keeping one of them. I guess that's ok, as long as I get to play with my mousey everynight!!

It's been two years...TWO YEARS...since Mom and Dad brought that big goofy thing called Sushi home. Yeah, ok, we did make a silent pact to slowly drive Mom & Dad crazy. Plan is going along nicely, just takes a lot of patience. I have patience. How could I not? Bailey has to diet, so apparently I have to as well - hmph! I have to share everything with Sushi and Bailey - hey, I was here first! Well, ok, Ariel the Gerbil was, but she's just a tasty treat I'm waiting for.

Anyways, ok ok Mom...I'll get to the point! Mom needs to work on her patience apparently too!

So, on the weekends, Mom takes Sushi out of the house for a few hours. I don't know why, I don't care. But, Sushi always comes back tired and he sleeps the day away. Has less energy. Hey, it's a break! I take what I can get.

Well, Saturday night, Sushi fell asleep on the livingroom floor. Mom and Dad were watching the big box thing - booorrrriinnnggggg. I walked in, looked at Sushi and though "hmmmm...this could be the moment I've been waiting for...." . Remember people, TWO YEARS OF SUSHI!!! All those times I've been chased, had my beautiful fur pulled, been tackled by, ATE MY FOOD, you get the picture. So, punching him in the nose hasn't done the trick, although it amuses Mom. Doesn't take much. Humans, hmph.

So, there is Sushi. Peacefully snoozing away. Surprized he doesn't snore! So, I walk up to him. Mom and Dad are watching - they are expecting me to do some cutesy thing like groom him! Yes, they really thought that was what I was going to do. Are you kidding me??? Funny thing is, they've always gotten after Sushi, now after what I'm about to tell you, I think they may start protecting him instead!

Yeah, I took advantage of the situation. Sushi was lying on his back, eyes close, very peacefully sleeping, had no clue I was even there. Stupid dog. So, I went right up to him, sniffed him, and then I went for it - I pounced & grabbed him by his silly furry neck with my teeth!!! Victory!! I went for the jugular!! Until...Dad yelled at me! Drats, foiled!!!! Needless to say, Sushi woke up with that stupid dog look. You know the one that says "what what what???". He doesn't even know what happened, bwa hahahaha....

My new job

Well, aside from resident bug killer or locator, I have a new job.

Every morning, my Mom picks me up to help me hold the rolled up newspaper to give to my Dad. I get a lot of scratches and kisses for it, so it's not such a bad job after all! :)

It's my birthday today!

Meowww!!! I am 2 years old today! Mom gave me THREE treats this morning and a big hug. She said that tonight I will get my special present, plus an extra helping of wet food. Yum yum!

Birds!!!!

Birds! Birds! Birds! They are everywhere!! Spring has finally arrived! Mom and Dad let Bailey and I perch on their dresser by the big window to watch all the birds! And when we are really good, Dad will open up the window so we can hear the birds sing too! Bailey and I pretend we are tigers hunting prey! I love Spring!!

What is going on???

The last 3 nights, I keep trying and trying to get my Mom and Dad out of bed to pay attention to me. Mom is an easy target, but she is still staying in bed! Hmph! I lick her, cuddle with her, lick her more & more, try to get under the covers. Nothing works, I don't get it!

And, what is Bailey's problem? Well, she loves to eat - that's obvious! But, she nudges me away from my own dish and then eats my food! Mom now makes Bailey wait until I take my first bite before giving Bailey her bowl of food - haha!

But now....because Bailey loves to eat so much...Mom said that tomorrow she is buying us a new food. She says we'll both really like it, but that it also means we'll be on a diet. What the heck is that?? I don't like change! It better taste good!!!

I don't like garbage trucks!

I was MAD this morning. The garbage truck came. It's very noisy! Bailey & I ran upstairs to jump up on the dresser to watch out the window. Hmph! I growled and growled at the garbage truck until it went away. They make too much noise and don't even do a very good job, leaving the other garbage to be picked up, but leaving it in the middle of Mom & Dad's driveway. I don't like garbage day!!

Swat!!!!

Fun morning. Swatted at Bailey, while lying upside down and half hanging off my tower, while she was lying on the stairs. Mom tried to take a picture, but I sat up before I'd allow THAT to happen. Then the dog came around - swatted him twice on the nose. Then Dad picked me up so we could chase the dog and swat swat swat some more!! Oooohh, what a wonderful morning!!!

Just a normal day

So far today is just a normal day. I played with my sister, Bailey. My brother dog, Sushi got me good today though. I wasn't looking and he charged at me. I MEOWED which made Mom get mad at Sushi, hehehehe. But, you know, I got him back too! When he wasn't looking, I crawled along the floor on my belly with my ears back flat, then I swatted at him - you should have seen him jump, it was so funny!!! I have to teach Bailey how to handle him, she's still learning. I'm off for a nap now.
