Meeting a Hamster

Mom was cleaning her baby hamster's cage, and put him in the tub. She went outside to clean his cage, but when she got bcak, she saw me... supervising her hamster from the edge of the tub! I just seemed curious and was starting to leave the bathroom, so Mom continued to clean the cage.
When I saw that she was out of sight, I went in the tub with the ham, and when Mom got back, she was surprised!
I didn't seem very interested in the hamster; I just seemed to enjoy being in the tub like I usually do.
But the hamster sure was interested in me!
The little guy was sniffing my fur, then tried to eat my behind!
Oh, my, so of course I got out of the tub once I saw what was going on.

My New Play House

Well, it's not really my play house (it's like a tent). It was a gift for Mom's sis. But Snowee and I love that play house! Especially me though.
When I'm in it, I'm really excited. If someone peeks at me, and then touches the side of the play house, I jump and pounce at that area, even at the top!
But sometimes I just like to nap there. Zzzzzz...
When the play house in flat (folded), we still play with it. That's why Mom says we love that play house too much.
We try to make ourselves tiny and go in the flattened play house and peek. I look like a lump when I'm there! (A soft and furry lump!) I almost got stepped on a while ago when I was in my play house.
I like to try to pounce on Snowee when I'm hiding there, and when I do, she gets angry and walks away.
What fun!

Pretty claws?

Something came in the mail yesterday... for me!!
My soft paws arrived! I was so excited becasue I haven't had them for quite a while.
But when Mom opened the package, to my surprise they were...*shock* pastel pink!
I hissed a lot while Mom put them on me. That's what she gets for making my macho kitty, destructive claws *sob* pink!
My humans thought it was great (but that's because they can't get anymore scratches from me on them, or on their furniture!), but Snowee (who is declawed) just laughed at me.
I feel humilated and somewhat degraded. Why, oh why are my claws pink?!

Tired Kitty

Just a little while ago, after dinner, Mommy was cuddling me on the couch.
But to tell you the truth, she was QUITE annoying.
Guess what she was doing to precious little me? She put SUNGLASSES on me. Oh no, not masculine macho kitty sunglasses (which I think may suit me very well), but she put girly, pink and purple heart-shaped sunglasses on me!!
Now, I know, I can hardly believe that myself. Oh, sigh. How embarassing, right?
Now, not only that, but she kept tickling my beautiful kitty cat fur as I was dozing off.
She noticed my fur twich once when she petted me and messed it up (how could you mom??!), then she decided it was cute that my fur could twitch. So, poke, poke she went to my shiny fur.
I. Know. How. Entertaining. For. Her.
But not for me, of course! After enduring more than half an hour of Mom (she's usually quite nice), she decided that she wouldn't hold me captive any longer.
Yay, yay, I thought as I jumped off the couch, as I fainted onto the floor.
My family thought I looked so hilarious when I plopped down on the rug, my back curved like a letter "u". My arms were stretched out, and I felt so relieved not be being poked and being made a new kitty trendsetter.
I am a tired kitty today.

Playtime!

Yesterday, Mommy and I were playing. Well, actually, Mommy was going to pet me, but then I started running away, and I kept peeking, so it became a game of peek-a-boo and tag. Heehee.
I peeked, then when Mommy spotted me, I got excited and dashed to the side of the couch. (Boy, was I hyper!)
I heard Mommy's footsteps and I had no where else to run at the moment, so I jumped. Whee!
Playtime is so much fun!

My- After-Christmas-and-New-Year's-Eve.-Before-Valentine's-Day-P- resent

Mommy bought me a present! I bet it's because I'm her favorite. :) Although, I do have to share with Snowee. Sigh.
I finally got a new catnip toy! Whoo! I sure got some excersize.
But Mommy said because Snowee is younger, I had to let her play first. Aw. I watched her throw the mouse toy above her head and flip around and go crazy... Ah, reminds me of when I got my first catnip toy.

Our First Christmas

When I woke up in the morning yesterday, everyone was excited. It was Christmas!
A little while later, my humans left for a little while, and Snowee and I celebrated Christmas by sniffing the many gifts surrounding the tree and table.
While our humans were gone, there was snow outside again! No, Snowee didn't escape! MOL. It seemed so amazing, because it had only snowed one other time that month, not really near Christmas though.
By the time our humans got back, the snowflakes were bigger! The grass was covered with a blanket of snow! Snowee's and my first Christmas was a white Christmas. :)
Then my humans started tearing the pretty paper off of the colorful, prettiful boxes. Why?! Why do humans wrap pretty, pretty gifts, then just take the paper off of them? Hmm, I wondered about that for a second, then enjoyed looking at and sniffing the prettiful paper.
A little while later, I got bored of sniffing, and went to lay down right next to a stack of gifts.
I liked my first Christmas!
I wonder what New Year's will be like? Hmmmmm...

New Toy

When Mommy came home yesterday, she brought home a cool toy for me and Snowee!
It was shiny and yellow and green. Oh, just like the other toy I lost! But bigger and with a different color!

Dear Diary...

Mommy told me that when she went on Catster today, she saw my picture on the Catster home page!
She wondered why there was a picture of me there, and she said it took her a while to figure out why. MOL!
I was very excited when I found out that I was Catster's featured diary of the day! Oh, I'm so happy!
Mommy even gave me a yummy kitty treat!

Snow?

Today, Mommy was getting all excited about this thing called "snow". At first I thought she was talking about my li'l sis, Snowee, but she was asleep, taking a kitty nap.
Mommy and her family was staring at the windows, so I assumed they were watching flies, like I always do.
So I made my way to a window, and looked outside, but just to find rain. But the rain was a different color! It was white... So this must be the snow Mommy was being so happy about!
Well, I got to admit, it sure was pretty.
After a while of watching the snow falling, I went over to play with Snow (my sis, hehe). We played, and played...
Then a couple of my other humans went outside, but I didn't mind them much because as Mommy went to the window to watch them... She dropped this cool new toy on the floor! It was one of those coat things... But it had fur on it!! Just like us kitties... But the fur on the coat was fake. Ya know how I found out?
When Mommy came back to grab the coat, she saw me chewing on the coat! She got very mad at me... But I loved that new coat. So I just kept sitting on it as she pulled it to the door. What a fun ride! =)
It was my first time seeing snow today, and it was awesome
