Arrival Story: My father (whom I thought really didn't like cats all that much) found him at a construction site and brought him home.
Bio: Vili is a ragdoll cat. When you pick him up, he rarely struggles to get away. He just becomes limp. For a male cat, he has the tiniest little voice. It's pretty funny to hear him say "mew." My parents recently were on a month long vacation but were not too worried about Vili being alone as he is a bit of a loner. By the end of that month, he was really craving attention from the catsitter. Ever since they've been back (a few weeks now) my mother tells me that is being ultra affectionate with them. Guess he's worried that they'll leave him alone again!
UPDATE - Vili disappeared in December 08. He was not one to run away from his yard so my parents' best guess is that a coyote got him. One was seen in the area at the time. The fall's fires had driven coyotes to areas which they did not previously frequent. RIP, Vili. ):
