Mewsings of the Mature Feline
Gone to the BridgeMay 31st 2006 6:59 pm[ Leave A Comment ] My poor Samuel went to the Rainbow Bridge on May 20, 2006. He had been diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer earlier this year so we were all aware his time here was limited. He enjoyed the months between his diagnosis and his passing and was very much the spoiled darling of the house. He will be greatly missed.
KittensDecember 18th 2005 6:38 am[ Leave A Comment ] My newest little sibling Abigail is such a little trial sometimes. It's so hard to be patient whe you have a kitten wrapped around your head trying to eat your ears. But of course it's my job to be the patient older brother. She will eventually grow into an acceptable enough cat but does it have to take so long??
Furniture and suchDecember 9th 2005 12:39 am[ Leave A Comment ] I thought Mom was just doing that weird holiday thing again. Every year she puts up the tree that isn't really a tree and hangs sparkly htings all over it. She did that the other day and I thought the madness was over for a bit. Then Thursday here come two big guys with a new sofa. Imagine traipsing in and out of our place, moving things all over the place! The old sofa is in the second bedroom now and the new one seems just fine. Mom certainly liked it enough to fall asleep on it for a few hours.
More changesDecember 4th 2005 1:40 am[ Leave A Comment ] I cannot believe how these humans are. I have yet another new pair of sisters. One is a new kitten named Abigail. She's too small to be much of a factor yet since Mom keeps her in the big carrier when she is not watching her. Emma is a dog. She seems ok for that species - not really noisy and leaves us pretty much to oourselves. Suppose it will all settle down so long as Mom keeps feeding us and giving us pets.
