Catching Up

Wow, I have so much to tell everyone!!

As you all probably know, my big sister Monster passed away last month. It was right before her 16th birthday. We were all very sad, especially mommy. We also had to move to a new place in a big hurry. Mom and dad got a letter on their door saying even though they paid their rent every month on time they were kicking everyone out of the building because the people who owned the apartments didn't pay their rent. But we are in a very nice condo in a place called downtown. Technically we're not supposed to live where we are, but our landlord likes cats and the people who run the building are in the middle of changing the no pets rule. So mom and dad had to disguise each of us and sneak us in at night.

I am doing okay. I like the new place and have adjusted well. Sometimes it's not easy because we are not allowed outside our own door for fear of being seen, but we have lots of large windows.

Mommy just got ou of the hospital again. She had the flu so bad they had to watch her for a few days. I'm glad she's home, though. Daddy doesn't know how to make turkey, and tomorrow is the day we all get turkey with gravy.

What, Again?

Mom says we'll be moving at the end of November. The place we live at is being torn down and built into a shopping center. Mom and dad are trying to move south to Cocoa Beach or Tampa. Goodness, it's been only a year since we moved last time!

Meatball is recovered so we are back online now. He has been cleared for missions and so forth so we will be around a lot more oten now.

Mom and the daddy of Cain and Abel got into a horrible fight because she found out he had them out of the house and they were eating out of the trash dumpster. There was a huge scene and animal control came to get them and they took Blondie from the guy as well. So mom took their profiles off her account. She's really upset because she felt like if their daddy didn't really want to keep them then she could have found them a nice home. **sigh**

Back in the Saddle

Mommy and everyone has been sick for the last few weeks. Meatball had a bit of a mini-stroke so we have been really quiet so he can ge better. The vet sas he is ok now but for a few days we were not too sure. I love my big brother so I would sleep right next to him. I am quite the doctor you know.

We all banded together, even Angel o Peace, and Meatball is getting back to his usual cheerful self. I am happy because I would have missed him.

But we are all healthy and back online.

Well Scottie and I are back together. You know when you find someone youre comfortable with it should not matter what your legal status is. Plwnty of human couples are together but are not married. I am very happy.

Tummy Trouble

I seem to be having a lot of hairballs which make me sick when I eat. Mommy took me to the vet and she said that I should have private meals with special food to see if my tummy etles down. The vet think my eyes get bigger than my tummy and I overeat because there is physically nothing wrong with me. Mommy also combs my fur every day so I don't shed so bad.

Mommy Love!!

I have been cuddling up with mommy quite a bit lately. She tends to keep the apartment a bit on the coldside, but even when the air is off I still enjoy being with her. We lay on the couch together and watch tv. We have warm blankets ans stuf, and lots of pillows. I also get scraps when mommy eats.

I found out next month mommy will be getting Saturdays off in addition to Monday and Thursday. She needs a break from working every single weekend. I am happy because we will get to spend even more time together.

random thoughts

Wow I can't believe it has been a whole month since I've written in my diary!!

Nothing new is happening, really. Angel o Peace went to get her 'surgery' this week and I gave her some sympathy. I remember when I went to get that done, but I have been healthy because of it.

Mommy is ok, I guess. She's tired and is trying to find someone that will come in once a wek and help her clean the house/do laundry/cook meals. She is waiting on someone right now, but it doesn't look as i she might come after all. What a shame, she seemed like she might be good, according to mom and dad.

Today is Meatballs birthday and he's getting a party on Sunday.

Status Quo

Life for me right now is a bit of a status quo. I sleep, eat, play with mommy, then hang out by myself in the home office. I am trying to teach Angel how to be a proper girl kitty, but she has so much energy right now. I remember being that young and playful. Sometimes I might play a little, but for the most part I just like to sit quietly and watch.

Mom and dad are trying to lose weight again because daddy had his first appt with mommy's doctor this week and he was not very nice to daddy. He said that daddy is going to have a stroke in two years or less if he does not lose weight right now and change his life. It pleased om that the doctor was tough on daddy but she is also very sad because she does not want anything bad to happen to daddy.

So mommy has gone out to get us a new refirgerator because the one the apartment complex has in here freezes everything up and really can't be fixed. Mommy can't keep any milk, eggs, veggies, fruits, or anything in it beause it freezes in one day and they have to throw it out. Mommy says once we get the refrigerator in here then she can keep all sorts of healthy foods for both of them and theycan eat well. She is also talking to daddy's co workers to see if on nice days they can get daddy to walk around outside to get some exercise.

I will miss having extra warm fat to keep me warm when I lay down on mommy and daddy but I want them to be healthy too.

Life as a big sister

You know I am a very soft hearted cat who will share with any unfortunate feline but I think we might have someone invading on my status as the house diva.

Angel o Peace has not fully grasped the concept that I am the diva of this house. I am the one who is supposed to climb on mommy's lap and be cuddled. I've tried to explai this to her, but it seems to go in one ear and out the other. It's rather disheartening, to be honest.

But I just sit in the living room nd make myself pretty and hope mom will come sit in the living room and pet me. She is thinking of doing that today before she goes to work at 8 pm and might even work on her crocheting. That would be wonderful.
