She really doesn't have any pet peeves... she's so easy going. But she doesn't like when my mom's drooler (dog) gets in her face!

Iris hasn't show much interest in toys lately. :(

Usually anywhere on a hard surface (no comfy creature comforts for her!), but she loves right by the recycling trash can.

Arrival Story:
After my husband and I moved with Misty, our other cat, we decided we wanted a new kitten. We went to the Humane Society to pick one out. All the kitties were jumping on their cages to get at us - except Iris. I looked at her and she simply gazed at me with her big eyes and said, "Mew?" I fell in love. We took her home the next day.

Bio:
Within a few days of adopting Iris, it was clear something wasn't right. A vet appointment resulted in the diagnosis that Iris is diabetic. I found the Feline Diabetes Message Board (FDMB) and learned how to test her glucose levels and give insulin shots.
