Arrival Story: Update: Amelia will be moving to Mesa, Arizona to be with her new family - Debby and her cat Chloe. Congratulations, Debby!
Amelia was born to a feral cat at the end of March, 2007; Mama kitty is pictured elsewhere on my page. As soon as I was able to trap Mama kitty and her kittens, I brought them indoors to help them learn how to become housecats. Amelia's a lively little girl!

Bio: Amelia is the smallest surviving kitten from her entire litter. She shows a fascination with things in the air, and with leaping and jumping to get things in the air. She’s still a little leery of people, but she’s rapidly learning that people provide food, petting, and toy animation!
Amelia is the climber/acrobat of her litter; she’s named after Amelia Earhart, for being fearless in the air! She’s scaled the screen door, jumped more than 2 feet in the air after a feather, and leaped more than 3 feet horizontally. Every once in a while she’ll spin in midair, or she’ll leap straight up and land in a pounce. She really likes to pursue the occasional stray moth!
She kneads and kneads when she’s nursing, and loves to play with her toys and siblings. Her litter box habits are perfect. All she wants in life is to play, eat, and then play some more!.
If you adopt Amelia, I’ll also make you a 3 foot tall sisal-wrapped scratching post for her use, as I want her to go to a home where she will get spayed, but will not get declawed. She’s been wormed, but does not yet have her other shots; her sibling tested negative for feleuk and FIV.

Lives Remaining: 9 of 9
