Arrival Story:
We had agreed to stick to two cats. Then, I saw the cutest little siamese kitten on the web, with a plea for help because she and a lot of other animals were due to be put to sleep that week. I called animal control about her, and was told she wasn't supposed to have been on the web site, and wasn't currently up for adoption. She was a "bite case." I was told she was too skittish to make a good pet, but said I was interested in her, and at the end of her quarantine, I went to visit the shelter. I knew I was probably her only chance at a home. When I got there, she ran up to the front of the cage and mewed at me, and as soon as I got her out of the cage, she was all purrs. I had to take her home... luckily, my husband found her just as irresistable.

Bio:
Nusumi has grown from a tiny, flea-infested kitten on "death row" to a sassy and quirky little cat. She's very shy with strangers, but around family, she's busy, talkative, and very friendly. She definitely lives up to the crazy reputation of siamese cats.
