Arrival Story:
January 27, 2004: I knew I wanted to adopt a cat, so I went to the local petstore to price scratching posts, litterboxes, and the like. I didn't know it, but a local humane society keeps cats and kittens in this petstore for adopting. I remember seeing Tito in the middle cage. His name was Ashton then. I asked if I could hold him, and fell in love with him from the moment I had him in my arms. I remember it was January, and I was wearing a thick scarf. He swatted at it, and at my silver necklace, playful as could be. He was 11 weeks old. I knew I couldn't leave him there one more minute!
