Arrival Story:
A month or so after my cat Chelsea died of feline leukemia, my dad told me about how a stray cat had a ltter of kittens in the store room of the paint store he was managing at the time. Bubba's mother gave birth to a litter of 3 - 2 girls and one male. I was originally planning on getting a female, but I saw this little orange furball tormenting his sisters while they were trying to sleep an I was in love.

Bio:
Bubba crossed over the rainbow bridge on December 17th, 2002. He was nearly 15 when he died. I was 17 yeas old when I got him, we were separated by life's circumstances a couple of times, but he remained devoted to me. During his life, he had lived in several different homes with us and has lived with my mom, my sister, and my mother-in-law. Happily, he was able to live with me and my family for the last 10 years of his life. He was the sweetest cat I have ever owned and was even gentle with my now 14 year old daughter. He would allow her to carry him around by his neck and rough house with her. If anybody else attempted that, they would have pulled back a bloody stump instead of a hand, lol. Fortunately, I was able to hold him as he died. That may sound weird to some of you, but I was unable to be with my cat Chelsea when she was euthanized and I wondered for years what her last moments were like. At least this time, I know that Bubba was held by me, the person he loved the most in life and surrounded by my husband and my daughter and was comfortable and knew he was loved as he slipped from the living world to cross the rainbow bridge. R.I.P. Bubbie...I miss you!
