Arrival Story:
Max (Jellybean) was born to a feral cat at the end of March, 2007; Mama kitty is pictured elsewhere on my page. As soon as I was able to trap Mama kitty and her kittens, I brought them indoors to help them learn how to become housecats. Max (Jellybean) is a quick learner!

Bio:
Max is the biggest out of his entire litter. He is the most adventurous and curious; he's the first one to greet me with his Mama kitty, and he's the last one to run away when startled. He was the first to learn to bat around a toy, and the first to learn to carry it away in his mouth. He was also the first one to let me pet him, the first one to sit in my lap, and the first to allow me to pick him up without struggle. He's lively! There's nothing he likes better than to play with his toys (or siblings). He's learning that hands are not for playing with; only toys are for that. Hands are for petting only; he's learning this quickly. His litter box habits are perfect. All he wants in life is to play, eat, and then nap. Jellybean has been adopted by a wonderful woman in Topeka, Kansas. He went to his home with a 3 foot tall sisal-wrapped scratching post for his use. He was wormed and had rabies and distemper shots; he's also been neutered. His sibling tested negative for feleuk and FIV, but he hasn't been tested yet.
