Arrival Story:
This is kind of a sad story, but I will tell it anyway. I went to this kill shelter to adopt a cat (my first cat). I really didn't understand that shelters kill the animals at that time. There was this adorable gray female baby kitten named Fawn with whom I fell in love. I went home that day and thought about her for hours. I decided to go back and fill out adoption papers on Fawn the next day. When I got there, the shelter told me Fawn was "no longer with us". My boyfriend had to tell me what this meant, at which time I cried hysterically and yelled at the employees. After about a half hour, I went in the room and told the employees to show me the most special cat in the room. They showed me a tiny little white girl named Florence. I loved her, and they told me that I should fill out adoption papers so nothing could happen to Florence. I did, and about a week later, I took her home and renamed her Madison. I am in love with my little girl, and I couldn't imagine loving another little one more than I love Matty. I will never forget Fawn however, which is why Madison's middle name is Fawn. Madison is also named Madison because I love the Adam Sandler movie Billy Madison, and I have another cat named Billy.

Madison is very rare, being all white, with only a few gray patches on her tail and head. She is also extremely loving. She sleeps on me all night and puts her hands on top of my mouth while I sleep. She purrs all night long. I have come to be able to sleep through this.

Forums Motto:
Madison - A Real Girly Girl!

When I first adopted Madison, and she was Spayed, she kept biting off her stitches, so I had to put her in an Elizabethan Collar (see picture). She was absolutely miserable the whole time, but it did the trick!
