Arrival Story:
He came from the pound a little kitten with huge ears and persistent sneezing. He wanted to be carried constantly, and he'd climb up my legs for attention. So, I made a kitty sling out of a big silk scarf and carried him around the house when I needed to get things done. He got over his kennel cold, but he still required lots of attention.
Bio:
Terrance had the quietest purr and hardly ever meowed except when he got canned foods. He used to sleep on my shoulder with his head resting near my face ... he purred when he slept. He also loved being picked up and petted, which is somewhat unusual in cats. He was such a sweet boy, and I am going to miss him. I've had some wonderful cats, but Terrance was in a class of his own.

I can finally bring myself to bring Terrance's kitty blog [strange times we live in] to a close. Anyone who knew him, loved him. He was an exceptionally sweet cat, and he had charm to spare. He was a carpet shredder, a toe biter, and a window blinds swatter, but he gave kisses and hugs, he was endlessly affectionate, and the best feline pillow buddy I ever had. I'll miss him.

Terrance is king lovable this morning -- currently sitting in my lap. While I was making coffee he continuously leaned on my legs, and at one point got up on his back legs and wrapped his paws around me. "Good mornin', I love you!!!" So I had to pick him up several times and give him the customary hugs 'n' kisses, and in return he gave me the adoring headbutt/facerub. This is only unusual to the extent that his morning ritual usually consists of sitting at the front window keenly observing the world, which I think he's about to do . . . he's the awesomest.

He cannot resist a furry small round anything, which is why he was running around with a bookmark in his mouth this morning. There's something super genius about a cat appropriating an object for a toy that really would be a better cat toy than what it was designed for. Still . . . that's my bookmark. So, I found the fuzzy octopus, launched it, and stealthily recovered the bookmark with the googly eyes. Naturally, he tracked it down in about 2 minutes. He's a magic man!
