Arrival Story:
I used to work at a factory doing assembly work. One of the guys had left work early and on his way home had to pass a bar/restarant. He glanced in the parking lot and thought he saw something so he turned in to investigate. It was November, raining, and we had 60 mile an hour winds that year. As he got out of the car to look, what he found were 5 or 6 baby kittens in a pile in the parking lot. He thought they were all dead until he heard this little mewing coming from the pile. He moved all the kittens until he came to the bottom when he saw a little black ball of fluff looking up at him with the most scared look on his face. Ed being a nice guy, scooped him up and brought him home. Cleaned him up a little and gave him some food. He then brought the kitten to work to see if he could find him a home. Well, it just so happens that I had to go in the office to talk to HR at the time and when I saw her, she was holding this little black ball of fluff that could fit in your hand. She asked me if I wanted to hold him and of course me being a sucker for a baby, I took him. Immediately he cuddled against my neck and started purring like a chainsaw. When I went to give him back, he clung on to me for dear life and starting mewing really loud. Knowing we had 3 cats at home already(one was brother in laws) who was staying with us at the time, I said I would take him. They kept him in a box until I left. I had to pick the husband up from work and didn't tell him about the kitten. He asked me what was in the box and I said a new addition to the family. He wasn't too pleased cause he knew it was a feline. Well, we got home and I opened up the box and handed him the kitten. One look at that little face and my husband was a goner. Because of his brothers and sisters, the kitten was "Lucky" to be alive. So, "Lucky" has been with us since he was about 3 weeks old.

Bio:
Lucky doesn't care for strangers much and won't go by them. But if he sees me coming home from work and pulling into the driveway, he comes a runnin. He is my munchkin.
