Arrival Story:
I rescued this sweetheart from a shelter. She caught my attention when she started wailing at me from her cage, demanding to know why it took so long for me to come get her. She was so feisty and playful in the get-acquainted room, how could I not adopt her?

We love our little girl, and life is never boring with her! Pixie is a very opinionated, obstinate kitty full of calico cattitude. She likes to supervise everything Mommy does, especially during mealtimes, giving suggestions along the way - mostly along the lines of "that's NOT enough food!" She will shove her siblings out of their bowls to eat their meals if not watched. She loves to talk, chatting with us all the time, and having long conversations to tell us all about her day. She will convey her boredom by a few loud wails, sitting next to her toys as an additional hint to play. She loves to wrestle with all her siblings, keeping them active.

Mommy took us all out for a leashed walk today. We got to wander all around the front yard, which my brothers thought was great fun, but I wasn't so sure. I waited for a long time, until I was sure there were no surprises before I started exploring.

It was kinda hot, but there were some very interesting smells in the grass, and I got to chew on it too. I hope we get to go again.

A Weekend in Prison!

Whew! I am finally out of prison, although my parents call it the bathroom. They've told me it is quite luxurious accommodations, complete with my own bathroom box and water and toys. Yeah, right.

It started Friday night when I heard Mommy say she was concerned about the smell of some vomit I horked earlier. She wanted to see if I was pooping properly, so she shut me up all by my lonesome! As punishment, I waited until Sunday night to poop. Hee hee, I almost drove my Mom nuts with worry. What a way to get so much extra attention! Everyone came in shifts to stay and play with me. That's the only reason Mom didn't rush me in to the emergency vet. I played all the time, and inhaled all my food as usual. I know, those are my two weaknesses. They kept massaging me to see if I hurt anywhere, which was annoying. When I finally had to poop, I didn't cover so my parents could see it, and loudly announced what I'd done. When Mommy came rushing in, I took her to the box and said, "Nyehhp! Nyehhp!" like a "There, you happy now?"

She said thankfully I wasn't blocked, but I may have a bit of constipation, so she's adding stuff to my food. Ha, serves her right for always feeding me healthy food, which she says produces less waste. So what's she freaking out about?! Maybe now I'll get some junk food ...... maybe Fancy Feast!!
