Arrival Story:
I found Rocky at an adoption for Lifeline for Pets. All the cats were laying around sleeping like meat loaf, with no energy or personality except for Rocky. He was sitting on volunteer Paula's shoulder looking very animated, lively and curious (the Wacky Wocky face). I played with him a little and he got all tuckered out and fell asleep in my lap, and I knew I had to bring him home.

Rocky was separated from his litter and found alone in a yard when he was about three weeks old. Lifeline volunteer Paula fed him with an eye dropper until he was three months, since there was no mother's milk for him to suckle. When I first adopted him, he would try to suckle the tip of my nose, and even though I loved it, he soon figured out that no milk was coming from there! I named him "Rocky" because he has a bump in his nose, like a boxer. It was more prominent when he was a kitten, but it's still there.
