Arrival Story:
Paige was turned in to the local Humane Society at about a year old. I fell in love with him, but already had several cats and my husband had said NO MORE. I decided to wait and see if he got a good home, and visited frequently. Once day I went in, and they told me he'd been adopted by a family. I was happy for him. I went in the next week, and the person working there said "Your cat is back, are you going to take him this time?" I decided it must have been fate, I was supposed to have this cat! I took him home and didn't mention it to hubby. We already had an older Siamese, and for a week he thought it was Sam he was seeing every time! The funny thing about the situation was the whole time he was with us, he was fearless. You couldn't keep that cat inside, and he never met a person he didn't like. But the people who returned him claimed he was so terrified of everything, he hid behind the dryer for 3 days until they brought him back. He must have known he wasn't supposed to stay with them! He was the best cat I've ever had, my baby, and I'll miss him forever.

Paige was a beautiful Lynx point Siamese we were lucky enough to have in our lives for about 6 years. Unfortunately, he LOVED going outside, and no matter how hard you tried, he'd still sneak out on a regular basis. We finally gave up and let him do as he wished. This was the wrong decision, as he was hit by a car last fall, and I lost the most wonderful cat in the world. Paige acted more like a dog than a cat. The first day I brought him home, he pushed out a screen and was waiting on the steps for me when I got home. He loved car rides, and would come galloping up to greet me whenever I pulled in. He would jump in the car, and once spent the night there when I didn't realize he'd done it! He loved to sleep on my arm or chest, and frequently rode on my shoulders. He would sleep on his back on the couch, all sprawled out like a goofball. He was the best.
