Thanks to Sissel's mom for making my page and Scooter's mom for helping with the details. I have not been very active here since I left for the bridge but was very happy to be remembered in such a sweet way.

Thank mew to my furiends

Mom and I want to thank all of our furiends who stopped by my page to offer support and blessings for us. My beautiful page was made by Cheveyo's mom, my pretty fairy wing picture was made by Wilson's mom and Smudge made my angel wing picture. My page will look different soon as a month is almost over. My wings,candles and rosette presents will begin to disappear.Mom and I have read all the messages a few times now. We have written over 30 thank yous but will not get one to everybody. That is because reading the good wishes and writing the thank yous makes mom cry. So this thank you is also for all those who we have not sent a personal note.Each note is lovely and means a lot to us.
On to happy mews. I have always known about fairies.Mom joked about how I would sit and meow to nothing heehee,I was talking to fairies ! I am so excited now that i have real fairy wings and can play and fly with them and all my kitty furiends.

How many garden mats does a mom need?

A few weeks ago mom got all set up to garden. It rained the night before so she set out her garden mat to kneel or sit on. She sat down and started weeding and putting down a little fertilizer and extra mulch. Usually, she then pulls the mat along and does the next few feet. But I was supervising so I sat on the mat with mom. Mom forgot her clippers and went into the garage to get them and I spread out heehee. NO more room for mom! So mom put down another garden mat so I could stay there. She got busy with the next few feet of garden then went to get her camera to take my picture. When she came back Uboo was laying on that mat.No room for mom. So mom bent over to garden and asked us...How many mats does she need to garden? Hheheee. One more mat then cats you have helping of course mom.

My little yard

First, I want to thank Aunt Tootie for decorating my page. It stays beautiful because of her.
Mum and Pop have about 3 acres. There is a small area fenced in where there is the porch,small deck and catio all hooked together. There is a little grass and a flower and veggie garden. We call it the "little yard" It is my favorite place. I lay on the porch on a chair,sun on the deck,hide in the flowers. I can't even get over the small fence like Uboo can so mum lets me out there whenever she is home. You can see in my pictures that Uboo hangs out with me sometimes. He is a good big brother and is nice to me. Happy summer everyone!

The garden life for me!

I have stopped trying to go over or under the fence. Sigh...It is just too high for me.But now,I get lots more time in the garden. Today I was out there 4 hours :) I mostly lay on the porch or on the sunny deck. I also supervise mum in the veggie garden. I share the doggies water bowl. I know! Don't tell me about it heheeee.
I am hanging in there health wise. For now, mum has my medications and my fluids just right. So we are enjoying the summer together :) A few weeks ago, mum wasn't so sure I would be around but I am a trooper and I want my summer in the garden. Mum should post new pictures soon.

Update on me

Hello everycat,
The last time I went to the vet my pancreas values were better and most of the fluid around my belly was gone. All good news! But... my kidney values were still high and my red blood cell count was only 17 :( So, Mum is giving me shots of procrit 3x a week and I am supposed to be eating a special diet. I am good about the shots.
I have been walking around meowing and trying to escape out of the house.(sorry mum) So, mum has been letting me have short supervised visits in the fenced in garden. Problem is they are too short and too supervised Gosh!! I almost got over the fence today heeeheee.

Thanks for the purrs. They are still needed.

Thanks so much for the purrs and pop and advice. I am blessed to know so many smart,compassionate kitties with real good purrers. I went to the vet for more fluids this morning. I got a shot for nausea while I was there. Mum got the prednisolone in me this morning but I wouldn't eat breakfast. When I got home from the vet I ate a little bit though :) Mum knows the tricks to get me to eat because of Misha's illness. Kidney and pancreas problems are new to us.
My x ray results are mysterious. When looking down towards my spine all of my intestines are on one side.We cant see my spleen or pancreas. What is on the "empty" side is the mysterious part. The vet and my mum are afraid what could be there.If I felt better, I would have joked that all those kittens i had pushed my stuff over hehee.
Well, time for a nap. Please keep purring that I will feel like eating.I shouldn't have any throw ups today cuz of the shot. Thanks, dear furinds.

I need purrs

I have become picker and picker about what I will eat.I've been turning my little pink nose up and walking away. Mum took me to the vet yesterday and I had my blood and urine stolen. I had x-rays too.We got the results today that my kidneys aren't working so well and my pancreas is inflamed and my electrolytes are outta wack.So I got fluids and extra potassium and some prednisolone to take.Then I came home, took a nap and then threw up what little my mum got in me today. My mum is so sad and frustrated. Please purr for me that i feel like eating and I can keep it down.
I go back for more fluids tomorrow. Pooh!

Happy birthday!

April first 2000 I had my last bunch of babies under a tree. Macy was born that day. So mum uses it as my birthday too. She Got me that day as she picked us all up and put us in a box and took us inside. My life as a kitty pet started.
Thanks to all of my furiends for celebrating our birthdays with us again this year. We have a wonderful cake, party hats, flowers and cheery well wishes. It was a great day! You know how some days it can rain while the sun is shining? That's what happened this year. My dog brofur Skeeter went to the bridge on March 31st. Yup, the day before my birthday. My mum forgot all about our day. Then when she got on catster, all the well wishes and presents started pouring in! What a wonderful happy day to celebrate us kitties. It was the sun shining in.

Sad farewells to February

Oh, my February was pawsome! For Valentine's day a very handsome ginger boykit gave me my first box of Valentine's candy.Swoon..I am going to save the box forever. The candy and nip inside however are almost gone :) Then, I was cat of the week. Two fantabulous things in a row. I got presents, trophies,flowers and nice messages and some new furriends. My gal pal Sissel and her mom decorated my page for Valentie's day and made a big cotw banner for me. I am saving that too. Thanks my furriends for making February the best month ever!!
