Arrival Story:
His mother, Laverne, became pregnant with him and his sibs while I was otherwise occupied.

Bio:
Dusty, his brother, Kodie, sister Sekay, and mom Laverne all live with me in upstate NY. They spend summers at "camp", a house in the woods with a screened-in area/jungle gym built just for them. Dusty is a quiet, self-effacing Mumma's boy. He does NOT like smoochies on the face, but loves to be held. In 2000, I made the mistake of telling Dusty and Kodie that they were going to be neutered. They disappeared for 2 weeks. I found Dusty in a garage about two miles from home. He had a broken hip and a miniscule piece missing from an ear. After hip surgery and wearing the dreaded(but hysterical) funnel collar, he recovered physically, but has been even more skittish and emotionally fragile. He's needy and a bit tactile defensive and has his idiosyncrasies, but hey! who doesnt? He knows I love him. He must; He makes me say it a hundred times a day!
