Arrival Story:
We went to the animal shelter in Huntsville a few days before Valentine's Day. There weren't many cats there, and we liked Mr. Fancypants' sister a lot. We started filling out the paperwork to adopt her, when someone else told us that he had wanted to adopt her. Since he was on the verge of tears at the idea of not being able to adopt this cat, we backed off and went to look at the other cats. Mr. Fancypants was friendly and pretty, so we decided he'd do just fine.

Bio:
We let our cats into our back yard, because it's fenced in and the cats can't get over it. Well, Mr. Fancypants figured out how to get over the fence, and started doing so as often as he could. One night he went out exploring and never came home; I hope he decided that we simply weren't appreciating him enough and found a home with people who fully appreciate his fancy ways - that's what I like to think happened, anyway.
